CTR was founded by Frederick J. Mawson in 2000, and has evolved to the leading full service property tax consulting firm in Michigan. The appeals portion of the practice is very large, but we also provide general consulting and compliance functions for many Michigan Taxpayers that have assets in Michigan and other States, as well as, Canada.

As well as Frederick Mawson, CTR has assembled an industry leading practice with individuals from the Assessing, Appraisal, Real Estate Brokerage and Legal professions.

Under his direction, Fred pairs the project before the CTR Team with the lead professional. There is a "peer review" program in place at CTR which each project is reviewed by a fellow Consultant to ensure your file maximum tax savings is secured.
